Danielle R. Brittain, Ph.D., is a professor and the chair of the Department of Community Health Education in the Colorado School of Public Health at UNC.
Brittain’s primary line of research concerns include: the identification of perceived personal and situational barriers to physical activity among underserved populations of women, and the development of theoretically-driven interventions targeting social and behavior change processes that aid in the self-management and maintenance of physical activity.
