Mark your calendars Friday, April 12, for the presidential investiture and Campus Commons Open House. Investitures are traditional campus ceremonies to formally introduce new presidents during their first year of service. UNC President Andy Feinstein will speak as part of the event, which is scheduled to be held in the Commons’ new performance hall that’s currently under construction. The open house for the Commons, expected to open early spring semester, will also officially celebrate the opening of the signature building. The events, free and open to the public, will be part of Academic Excellence Week. More details about the investiture and open house will be provided as they become available.
