The Bresnahan-Halstead Center is dedicated to advancing knowledge and improving services for people with disabilities and their families across the state of Colorado, nationally, and internationally.

The Center for Gifted and Talented Education offers programs, training, and resources to help gifted students grow. We also supports teachers, families, and others who want to learn more about gifted education.

The Psychological Services Clinic has provided high-quality, affordable mental health care to the Northern Colorado community. We offer counseling and psychological assessment services for people of all backgrounds and ages.

Through Tointon, you have the opportunity to strengthen your skills, grow your leadership, and connect with a network of passionate educators. Whether you’re a principal or a teacher leader, our professional development programs are designed with you in mind.

The Colorado Center for Rural Education is here to support you on that journey. We work with 22 colleges and universities across Colorado, not just UNC, to help you prepare, get placed, and succeed as an educator in a rural school.

At the Center for Urban Education, you’ll get the practical skills and real-world experience you need to succeed as an early childhood, elementary, or special education teacher. Located at UNC’s Denver Center at Lowry, CUE gives future educators in the Denver metro area direct access to UNC’s top teacher preparation programs.

The Center for Innovative Educator Preparation functions to increase access to educator preparation programs and to serve as a facilitator for the development of effective and innovative educator preparation practices to address educator workforce issues, address gaps in educator preparation research, and develop innovative partnerships with state and local education agencies to address persistent needs.
