As the Graduate Assistant, Tara works closely with the Assistant Director on various projects for the campus. Tara supervises the ASAP interns and volunteers, and assists in their case management and internship projects. Tara also oversees the logistics surrounding ASAP’s day to day operations, including recruitment and hiring of new advocates, overseeing social media, campus outreach, ASAP data, and Clery Act reporting. Tara graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her Bachelor’s in Human Services and Political Science, and a minor in Criminal Justice. She is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Outside of ASAP, Tara enjoys spending time with friends and family, painting, and hanging out with her two cats.
