Northern Colorado Student Math Circle
We are very excited to pilot our Student Math Circle. We had 5 monthly evening problem-solving sessions for local students in grades 4-8th on Mondays October 19, November 16, 2015, and Mondays January 25, February 22, and March 7, 2016.
Daily Summer Camp Information
Student Math Circle Summer Camp is for middle school students who are excited to explore mathematics. Students will work collaboratively with each other and adult mathematicians on interesting and fun math problems. We will provide engaging mathematical problems, as well as encouragement.
We are very grateful for our sponsors: State Farm Insurance; the Community Foundation Littler Youth Fund; Dolciani Mathematics Enrichment Grants by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA); Work-out West, Cache Bank & Trust; Bank of Colorado. In addition to these funders, we had individuals who made donations to our program. UNC’s College of Natural and Health Sciences and School of Mathematical Sciences provide support and open their facilities to participants. With all these contributions, we are able to make this event cost-free to students.
