Professional/Academic Experience

Hello, I am Dawson P. Budke. I was born in Anchorage and raised in Chugiak, Alaska. I major in Cell & Molecular Biology, and my research interests are centered around nutritional genomics. After graduating in Spring 2021, I hope to further my education in a Nutrition/Genetics (or related field) PhD program. I’d like to explore the SNPs present within our population which influence differences in the metabolism of various essential amino acids. Ideally, I’d like to utilize this research to ultimately establish a nutraceutical/health supplement company. A fun fact is I was a State Champ wrestler in high school, and even today my passion for health is ubiquitous in all aspects of my life.
