In light of Campus closure and as a precautionary measure regarding COVID-19, employees in the Disability Resource Center are working remotely in an effort to best support our campus community. We ask for your patience as some services may be limited and response time may increase. Staff are working diligently to respond to inquiries as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize health and safety. Updates will be published to our COVID-19 information page as the situation develops.

Syllabus Statement

Universities are required to provide notice of services available to people with disabilities.  Faculty and staff are welcome to use this statement in the class syllabus. Below is the Syllabi Statement revised Summer 2019.

Disability Resources:  It is the policy and practice of the University of Northern Colorado to create inclusive learning environments.  If there are aspects of the instruction or design of this course that present barriers to your inclusion or to an accurate assessment of your achievement (e.g. time-limited exams, inaccessible web content, use of videos without captions), please communicate this with your professor and contact Disability Resource Center (DRC) to request accommodations.  Office: (970) 351-2289, Michener Library L-80. Students can learn more about the accommodation process here.
