Give to GOAL
Students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities have not had the opportunity to attend and live on college campuses in Colorado prior to 2016. With the passing of Senate Bill 16-196, this opportunity is finally available for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who, so badly, want to attend college in Colorado with their peers, learn to live on their own, and work in a career they love.
Your donation goes directly to the students.
Because of the academic, social, and career challenges students with ID and/or DD may encounter, GOAL requires that each, admitted student pay an extra $4500 fee per semester to ensure we can provide the added supports through mentors, classes, and services needed for student success. Your donation is used the offset this additional cost for students and their families.
Your generosity will change lives.
Your contribution may be the sole factor that a student is able to attend UNC through GOAL. GOAL students have the unique ability to demonstrate skills learned to positively influence and change perceptions of individuals with ID and/or DD in our great state of Colorado.
