University Health Clinic

The Health Clinic provides confidential and convenient medical care for undergraduate students, graduate students and UNC employees. 

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. If you need urgent or emergency healthcare when the Health Clinic is closed, visit our Emergency and After-Hours Resources.

Services include: 

• Care for illness and injury 
• Annual gynecological exams
• Contraception support
• X-rays 
• Physical therapy
• Lab services
• Massage therapy
• Chiropractic care
• Allergy injections
• Gender Affirming Care
• STI (sexually transmitted infection) testing
• Limited pharmacy
• Limited Telehealth - We offer telehealth appointments primarily for prescription refills and follow-up visits with established patients. In some cases, an in-person visit may be necessary to ensure you receive the best care. While telehealth is a convenient option, certain conditions and situations require an in-clinic evaluation.

We are located on the first floor of Cassidy Hall (corner of 19th St and 10th Ave).

We offer care for illness and injury on a drop-in basis—no need for an appointment, just follow the instructions at "how to access care". Appointments are required for gynecological examinations and chiropractic visits--call 970-351-2412 to schedule.  

Clinic hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 - 4:00 pm. 
Closed Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. 
We are closed on university holidays. 

You do not need student health insurance to access the University Health Clinic.  

We bill patients' health insurance for the services we offer. 

Insurance we accept

We accept most insurance plans, including Health First Colorado (Medicaid), the student health insurance plan and all UNC employee health insurance plans (except Kaiser). Patients are responsible for paying amounts not covered by their insurance. See Paying for Care for more details, including what to do if you cannot afford your copay. 

If you don’t have the student health insurance plan, we recommend that before you come in for care you check with your insurance to see if the Health Clinic (operating as “Campus Clinics”) is in-network with your insurance.  Alternatively, call the Health Clinic (970-351-2412) and we will check to see if your insurance will cover care in our clinic.
