Descriptions of UNC Units and Resources
Many grant programs require that applicants describe resources the university will make available to support proposed projects. Those sponsors want to know that projects will have all the resources needed to be implemented smoothly and completed on time.
The standard descriptions provided here can be used where they are appropriate for projects developed by UNC grant writers. Grant writers should use only those resources that make sense for their particular projects. For example, a project including plans to recruit students from underrepresented backgrounds might use those resources that will help those students succeed at UNC. A research project could use resources that support statistical analysis or laboratory facilities.
