Liberal Arts Curriculum
In Fall 2019 the faculty of UNC approved the Liberal Arts Curriculum to replace the Liberal Arts Core. The Liberal Arts Curriculum will be effective starting Fall 2021.
The curriculum streamlines the requirements in order to improve student retention and graduation rates and improve the Liberal Arts experience for all students. This curriculum accommodates the CDHE requirements and maintains UNC’s commitment to Multicultural and International Studies and the Liberal Arts.
All UNC students are required to complete a minimum of 31 credit hours from their LAC, regardless of major. The UNC catalog contains information on the specific LAC requirements that students must complete. See the 2021-2021 Undergraduate Catalog - coming soon!
