Community Engaged Learning
The ENST program is committed to contributing to sustainability and student learning through community engaged learning, including through courses that engage the community through outreach, partnerships, service learning, and field trips.
Student LEAF strives to empower students in transforming the campus community towards a more sustainable culture through collaboration of students, faculty, and staff in funding projects such as building and grounds improvements and education initiatives that promote a sustainability-conscious lifestyle.
Campus Environmental Action
The UNCO chapter of Earth Guardians, a globally recognized environmental action club, is devoted to raising awareness of the ethical rights and treatment of all. Earth Guardians hosts workshops, educational activities, and direct-action plans (such as a Zero Waste initiative) on campus to empower fellow UNC bears to join the movement and work towards a sustainable future.
