Dear International Students and Parents,

The University of Northern Colorado and all of us at the Center for International Education are committed to supporting you during this global health crisis. As the COVID-19 situation has been evolving rapidly worldwide, UNC has made a series of decisions in response to the situation. These include switching all classes online, shutting down non-essential campus facilities, practicing social distancing in dining services, etc. We recognize that our students and their families have had to make hard decisions to either return home or continue living here. Please know that we are here to support you, as we prioritize our students’ health and safety needs, academic continuity, and maintenance of immigration status as well as compliance on behalf of UNC.

Our team continues to work remotely and regularly communicates with students and scholars via email, phone, text and all available social media platforms. Please read the message from President Andy Feinstein that addresses details on the support services UNC provides our students.

Now more than ever, we need to treat each other with kindness and respect, recognizing that we are all in this together. This is why it is important to act proactively, exercise self-care and follow all health guidelines and observe social distancing to safeguard our own health and the well-being of all those we come in contact with.

Please make sure to regularly check the UNC COVID-19 information page and refer to our International Students and Scholar Services FAQs,  which are updated regularly as the situation evolves. You are also welcome to email us at at any time.

Best wishes to you and your families,
Center for International Education team
