Project TREE

The Training Rural Early Educators (TREE) project addresses regional, state and national needs by preparing well-qualified early interventionists and early childhood special educators (EI/ECSE) to serve young children with or at-risk for disabilites, who are from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, especially in rural settings.  Project TREE is funded by Office of Special Education Program, Department of Education (Grant #H325K140111).

Early Childhood Summit

The Annual Early Childhood (EC) Summit is sponsored by Bresnahan-Halstead Center in partnership with early childhood programs at Colorado Department of Education, Colorado Department of Human Services. The EC Summit is attended by early childhood educators, early intervention/special education providers, child care providers, early childhood administrators, special education administrators, family members. The summit focuses on strategies to support effective practices that support young children and their families and develop partnership plans for forging effective collaborations across programs and agencies.
