The Office of the University Ombuds is tasked with providing an informal, voluntary, impartial, and private space for students, staff and faculty to process conflict resolution. This is accomplished through fact finding, mediation and helping to identify and resolve conflict fairly.

While the Office of the University Ombuds is housed within the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the ombuds maintains an independence from other university offices.
