College of Education and Behavioral Sciences

At UNC, teaching is in our DNA. Founded as a teacher's college over 134 years ago, UNC's College of Education and Behavioral Sciences is a national leader in teacher preparation, producing more than 50% of educational professionals in Colorado and 15 Colorado Teacher of the Year Award winners. We are passionate about teaching the next generation of educators. In addition to a rock solid foundation in education, students are well prepared for careers in counseling, research, school psychology, administration and more.

College of Humanities and Social Sciences

Grounded in the liberal arts, the humanities and social sciences, students engage in the methodologies, techniques and technologies that prepare them to think creatively and critically about past, current and evolving social and global complexities. The College of Humanities and Social Sciences ensures students are equipped for a variety of careers in criminal justice, geography, economics, political science and are adaptable to work in many more by giving students career-first training in research conducted in the field.

College of Natural and Health Sciences

The largest college on campus, the College of Natural and Health Sciences offers students the opportunity to explore and understand the natural, health, human and mathematical sciences through its bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs. Students study in state-of-the-art facilities and participate in hands-on research working alongside faculty members locally, regionally and globally in places such places as the mountains of Vietnam, the Coastal waterways of Belize or the University's one-of-a-kind Cancer Rehabilitation Institute.

College of Performing and Visual Arts

With its nationally ranked programs, the College of Performing and Visual Arts gives students an abundance of real-world experiences that are unparalleled, whether they are studying art and design, music or theatre arts and dance. Students can take to the stage or gain invaluable behind-the-scenes experiences in more than 30 live theatre productions per year, plus concerts, performances and exhibits worldwide in places such as NYC, the Dominican Republic and LA. The College is home to the Little Theater of the Rockies, the oldest summer stock theater in the West.

Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business

The Monfort College of Business prepares students for the world of business and finance with first-hand experience for an array of satisfying careers. Our faculty and students work together to understand complex business problems and search for solutions that are not always clear. Through hard work, innovation and perseverance, students make a positive impact on the world through business. Our $1M Financial Education Center gives students unique hands-on experience managing funds on the trading room floor while students in all programs learn in high-tech classrooms, labs and social collaboration spaces. The college's experimental research in accounting program is ranked #1 program in the world.

As a public doctoral research university, UNC offers more than 100 graduate programs designed to advance careers in research or numerous professions. UNC's Graduate School offers students the opportunity to flourish academically, through research or creatively. Whether on-campus, at one of our three locations or online, graduate students find the flexibility they need to upskill, change careers or get promoted.
