IRBNet for UNC Users
Accessing IRBNet
IRBNet is a hosted service that can be accessed at https://www.irbnet.org. New users can create an IRBNet account by clicking on the "New User Registration" link located just under the log-in fields in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The New User Registration page will walk you through the steps to create your account. If you prefer, you can view a step-by-step slide show of the new user registration process through the link to IRBNet training provided below..
Be sure to select University of Northern Colorado (UNCO) as your organization, and enter your university email address. Once you have created your account, you will receive an activation email; click on the link provided in the message to activate your account. If you have any problems activating the account, contact IRBNet support at (877) 261-6461 or support@irbnet.org.
Help Using IRBNet
IRBNet offers several training tools for first-time users that can be accessed at http://irbnetresources.org/. You will need to use the following institutional login:
- username - unco
- password - training12
For all UNC researchers, the training tools include a nine minute instructional video that details the new project submission process.

During Fall semester 2012, help and training will be available on campus.
Drop-in Help Sessions are available in 1740 Gunter Hall on:
Tuesdays from 9:00 am-Noon: Aug. 28, Sept. 4, Sept. 11
Wednesdays from 2:30-4:30 pm: Aug. 29, Sept. 5, Sept 12
Group or individual training sessions are available on request. Visits to research oriented classes may also be available. To request training, contact:
