Office of Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid connects you and your family to financial solutions such as Grants, Scholarships, Student Employment and loans to help you bridge the gap between what you can afford to pay for your college expenses and the cost of attending.

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA*) at www.fafsa.ed.gov by our March 1 priority date to be considered for the maximum amount of financial aid. If you miss the March 1 deadline, you should still submit a FAFSA as soon as possible. UNCís Federal School Code: 001349.

Applying is free, and aid is awarded both to students with a demonstrated financial need and those with a record of high achievement.

For important information in regards to your financial aid follow the step by step instructions for detailed information. Topics include award descriptions, rights and responsibilities, how to maintain your aid, annual cost of attendance figures, etc.
