Reason for Joining Student Senate: Student senate allows me to make changes at our university that are pro-social and dynamic. I want to be able to be actionable in my life, and through this position I am able to make some positive change.
Involvement on Campus: Anti-Racist Book Club
Some of my goals for student senate include promoting an agenda that surrounds diversity, equity, inclusion and awareness. I would like to be able to have the student population feel connected with their cultures and backgrounds, while being able to collaborate and connect with all their diverse peers.
