EAS Booth at YES!fest

Faculty and students with booth visitors

September 18, 2022

The Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Department hosted a booth at YES!fest on September 17, 2022. This is a community-wide STEM event for elementary age students and their families, and there were hundreds of attendees!

We had several interactive stations, including our tornado model, other meteorology demonstrations such as "cloud in a bottle" and a spin tank, a geology table with rocks, minerals, and fossils, and drone demonstrations.
