Term through June 30, 2024

Jazmin Martinez is a fourth-year student at UNC. She currently is majoring in Mexican American Studies with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. Outside of her commitment to the newly established Student Government Association on campus, she spends her time involved with a number of other clubs and organizations. She is a first-generation Latina scholar who has been involved with the Center for Human Enrichment and the Cumbres scholar program on campus. Over the last two years, she served as president of MÁS Society and is excited to remain a member this year. She currently serves as the recruitment chair for the League of United Latin American Citizens and is also the current president of her sorority, Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated.

Some of her hobbies include setting up a hammock on campus or going out for walks along central campus. She enjoys reading and painting in her spare time and loves to meet new people. She grew up in the town of Walden, Colorado, and is so proud to be continuing her education at UNC.
