Biography

My name is Eric Sheley. I am a geography major/history minor. I specialize in historical food geography, organic/sustainable agriculture and permaculture. I plan on going to graduate school after graduating from UNC to further my research on these topics. I am also honored to be part of the 2016 Reisher Scholars program, as well as having been selected for the 2016 American Association of Geographers- Darrell Hess Award. I am a Colorado native and enjoy fishing, hunting and the outdoors. I also compete in the Scottish Highland Games locally. I am very grateful to be part of the McNair program!
