Want to Join an Interfraternity Council Fraternity?

Structured Recruitment happens at the beginning of each semester and is the most common time for men to join.

Fall recruitment will take place within the first 3 weeks of the Fall Semester. Many fraternities, however, continue to recruit throughout the semester. Contact individual IFC organizations to find out if they are currently recruiting.

Registration

Registration is required to be able to accept a bid from any University of Northern Colorado Interfraternity Council affiliated Fraternity during Structured Recruitment. Registration for recruitment is quick and easy.

Registration is required to be able to participate in the University of Northern Colorado Interfraternity Council (IFC) structured recruitment. Registration for recruitment is quick and easy.

The four fraternities that participate in IFC Recruitment are Delta Sigma Phi, Lambda Chi Alpha, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Pi Kappa Phi. For more information about each fraternity, visit the organizations page and click the Interfraternity Council drop-down menu. 

If you are interested in joining a Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) Fraternity or National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC - Divine Nine) Fraternity, please visit the organizations page on the Fraternity and Sorority Life website and contact the organizations directly. 

Fraternity 2020 Recruitment will take place Monday, August 31 - Friday, September 4. 
Due to COVID-19, chapters may utilize in-person events as well as virtual platforms during recruitment. Chapters are required to follow all State and Local guidelines if they are hosting in-person events. Masks are required to attend in-person events.

Before visiting the registration form, please thoroughly read the information below.

Required Items for Registration:

  • If possible, a laptop or desktop should be used when registering
  • Use Google Chrome internet browser when completing your applicatio
  • If you are a first-year student, your high school GP
  • If you are a transfer student, your transfer GP
  • If you are a sophomore-senior, your college GPA

Optional Items for Registration:

  • Your resume reflecting your extracurricular activities, honors, community services, and work experience
  • A picture of yourself

There is no fee to go through fraternity recruitment.
If you join a fraternity, each organization has their own financial commitment.
