I completed my undergrad at Washington State University with a B.S. in Counseling Psychology. Currently, I am completing my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University in Denver CO. I have worked in several areas in the field of mental health, such as: Crisis counseling, Demetria care, recidivism prevention, and suicide prevention.
Here at the Counseling Center, I see clients for individual sessions, provide crisis or emergent sessions, intakes, and co-lead one of our DBT skills groups.
I work from a Narrative and Gestalt Therapy lens. The stories we tell ourselves matter. Stories shape the way we perceive the world around us and how we engage with one another. Understanding our stories and understanding the emotions that take roles in these stories can help with understanding some of the problems we face on a day to day bases.
Born and raised in Washington. Lover of nature and camping. Proud parent of my 4-year-old Rottweiler, Meadh. I embrace the nerd life with a passion for table top games, D&D, and a verity of videogames.
