Ambar Zapata is a bilingual intern at Options in Psychology located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Ambar’s focus is on neurodevelopmental disorders, as she strives to become a board-certified neuropsychologist. She would like to specialize in the pediatric population; however, through her training she has worked with clients throughout the lifespan. Ambar uses cognitive behavioral therapy as her theoretical framework, but also draws from other modalities to better serve those seeking mental health care. Ambar has completed 9 years of undergraduate and graduate studies, including clinical practice in Miami, Florida, and is eager to provide Nebraska with excellent psychological services.
