Also, the African American town of Dearfield, Colo., and Black eunuchs of the Ottoman Empire. Author of "Afroamerican History," "Blacks in the American West and Beyond: America, Canada and Mexico" (bibliography), "History of Blacks in Canada" (bibliography), and "A History of the Fifty-Fourth Regiment of Massachusetts Volunteer Colored Infantry of the Civil War." Member of the Western Social Science Association and the Western History Association.
