Joseph has had a longstanding passion for health and performance optimization. His work during his Master’s involved investigating cannabidiol’s (CBD) effects on delayed onset muscle soreness and performance, and he has since grown interested in other methods used to elicit neuro- or immuno-modulatory effects in the body. Specifically, Joseph’s research interests include the use of cognitive enhancers (“nootropics”) for health-related purposes, as well as the physiological implications of frequent cold-water immersion. Outside of the world of research and academia, Joseph enjoys golfing and hiking whenever he gets the chance!
