Dr. Dannon Cox is faculty with the Colorado School of Public Health at UNC. His interests are in mind-body health promotion and digital media as a pedagogical
tool. Most recently, Dr. Cox’s work has included the incorporation of Yoga and mindfulness/meditation practice for emerging adults. Additional work includes the use of media as a community health resource such as photovoice, which provides individuals and communities to demonstrate and share experiences to varying social determinants of health. Dr. Cox teaches graduate
level courses in community health education that include coursessuch as research methods and evaluation, health communication and the media, and contemporary
issues in school health.
