Stephania Jimenez-Castro

Hello there, I am Stephania! My journey of higher education began when I enrolled at Aims Community College in January of 2016. At Aims, I quickly joined the honor society known as the National Society of Leadership and Success. After graduating with my associate degree in Anthropology, I transferred to the University of Colorado in the city of Boulder. However, in a wonderful turn

of events, life brought me to the doors of the University of Northern Colorado (UNCO). Currently, I spend my time maintaining my 4.0 GPA and preparing to conduct original research with the help of the McNair Scholars Program staff and insightful UNCO professors. I plan to graduate in May of 2020. Afterwards, I will attend graduate school in hopes to receive my doctorates degree. With the skills I acquire in graduate school, I plan to conduct research on bonobos, one of our closest relatives, in order to improve human health.
