Biography

My name is Jewel Mahoe (pronounced like ma-hoy; it's Hawaiian) and I am majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language Arts and a minor in Reading. I am from Honolulu, Hawaii and it is truly paradise, although I love the mountains here in Colorado. On campus, I am a Student Ambassador Tour Guide and I love volunteering with the Student Council for Exceptional Children. After completing my bachelor's degree, I would like to pursue a master's degree in Special Education. My ultimate dream is to teach abroad and to have the opportunity to meet students from all over the world.
