Biography

My name is Steven Anthony Diaz. I am originally from the San Bernardino County in California, but I moved to Greeley, Colorado at the age of 5. As a student at UNC, I am majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Physics. As such, I plan to obtain my PhD in either Physical Chemistry or Chemical Physics, hopefully emphasizing Chemical Spectroscopy. With my PhD, I plan to return to university-like settings to teach Chemistry in a higher education environment.  A unique thing about me is that I have not seen most movies that are “culturally required.” For example, I have not seen any of the Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Back to the Future trilogy, The Breakfast Club, Jaws, Rocky, and the list goes on. Because of this, it would probably be easier to ask me what movies I have seen than to ask if I have seen a specific movie.
