Notes: Gift from sculptor, Dennis Cole, in 1997. The sculpture by Dennis Cole is a life-mold of Michener's hands and the front of his manual typewriter. Michener gave the sculpture the title: "With these two fingers, I typed millions of words."

Richard G. (Gordon) Ellinger
Richard Ellinger served in several capacities at the university from 1928-1962, including Assistant Professor of Art, Associate Professor of Art , Professor of Art, and Emeritus Professor of Music. He created paintings of several University presidents, including Presidents Snyder, Crabbe, Frasier, Ross, Holmes, Bond, and Dickeson. Gift of Mr. & Mrs. Raymond N. Williams in 1975.

Walter O. Green graduated with a M.A. from Colorado State College of Education in 1956. He served in several positions while at the University of Northern Colorado from 1965-1970, including Associate Professor of Art, and Emeritus Professor of Art.

Notes: This stained glass window hung in Potato Brumbaugh's Restaurant & Saloon in Greeley, Colorado for twenty-five years. In 1980, John C. Todd, one of the original owners of the restaurant, received permission from James A. Michener to name the restaurant after the character in Michener's novel Centennial.
