About

Sophia is a doctoral candidate in the combined Counseling and School Psychology program at Florida State University. She has experience working with children and adolescents in both private practice and school settings, supporting clients with presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Sophia is passionate about integrating art into therapy, using creative expression to help clients tell their stories and foster healing. She primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches, while viewing each case through an ecological lens—considering the many systems that influence her clients' well-being. In her free time, Sophia enjoys exploring new trails throughout Colorado. She is excited to join the High Plains team in the Greeley-Evans District 6 schools and looks forward to supporting students and families in the community.
