The Bear Pantry celebrated their grand re-opening at a new location Monday afternoon in the University Center. The Pantry held an amazing event with a great turnout of University of Northern Colorado students, faculty and graduate students. The grand opening was a chance to see the new space and recognize the importance of utilizing the pantries' resources.
The Pantry is not only a place to get food and supplies, but also an opportunity for those who want to give back to their community. If you are looking to volunteer at the Pantry, you can email them at bear.pantry@unco.edu, or you can stop by the store where they can add you to an email list.
The pantry is focused on creating a space where everyone feels welcome. For UNC students and faculty, it offers a safe place to turn when in need with no judgment.
