About

Ryan joined the development team in August 2022 as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. Ryan works with UNC's corporate and foundation donors, helping connect their philanthropy to the needs and opportunities across the university that advance UNC's Students First mission. Ryan first joined the University of Northern Colorado staff in February 2021 as the Senior Communications Strategist for Executive Communication in the Office of the President.

Prior to working at UNC, Ryan was the Senior Communications Manager at Doane University, managing media relations and public relations efforts. He served as the primary writer for Doane news and magazine stories, worked closely with the President on developing his communication, and was the university's spokesperson. Before Ryan worked in higher education, he was an on-air sports reporter/anchor in Lincoln, Nebraska.
