GOAL Campus Life
GOAL students have the opportunity to live inclusively and independently with the support of their residence life mentor and resident assistant in suite style living in Turner Hall.
Have specific questions about the many ways students are included on campus? Contact our Director of Campus Inclusion & Student Development, James Slaughter!
GOAL provides training for elements of independent living both on and off campus based on individual student needs including:
- Travel Training
Social Skill Development
Social opportunities are defining moments of all college-aged students. GOAL students participate in any social events, activities, clubs, and organizations to increase socialization opportunities and develop authentic, healthy friendships.
Students may be supported by peer mentors in order to develop safe and healthy social skills. Based on the student's decision, they will have access to:
- Social Mentors: University of Northern Colorado students who support in developing social skills on and off campus.
- Wellness Mentors: University of Northern Colorado students who support GOAL students in accessing recreational facilities and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
