What is UNC GOAL?

GOAL stands for "Go On And Learn" and is a fully-inclusive, non-degree program for students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to attend college courseslive on campus, and gain competitive employment at the University of Northern Colorado.

UNC GOAL is an opportunity for students with intellectual disabilities to attend UNC with their peers. Students complete a highly individualized program that is tailored to their interests and strengths. Students then work with the GOAL team to design the following: a personalized course of study complete with classes that are modified to the student's academic skill level; a thriving campus life; and meaningful and exciting career opportunities following the program's completion.

GOAL Components

GOAL is comprised of three crucial components: academics, campus life, and career. Each represents a critical piece of the independence puzzle.
