UNC Go On and Learn 

UNC's Go On and Learn (GOAL) is an inclusive higher education program at the University of Northern Colorado. GOAL is an opportunity for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities to attend college.

GOAL is a federally designated Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP) for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities . The certificate and curriculum were approved by the U.S. Department of Education. 

As a CTP, our students are eligible to complete the FAFSA and receive certain forms of federal financial aid, including Pell grants and work-study funds. This mission of GOAL is competitive, integrated employment at or above minimum wage for our graduates.

Students must have a diagnosed intellectual or developmental disability to be considered for GOAL. GOAL applicants do not apply for UNC using traditional application procedures. Learn how to apply for GOAL.

Students complete 72-80 credit hours using a combination of modifications and accommodations. Upon successful completion, students are awarded a Credential of Completion. GOAL supports student success using a person centered approach within three domains:
