Meet our staff
Charlie Couch, PhD
I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work in Higher Education Administration for over 15 years, specifically in the area of the Office of the Registrar and Institutional Research. My educational experience includes receiving a Bachelor in Business Administration in accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1993, a Master of Business Administration from LeTourneau University in 1998 and a PhD in Education/Leadership for Higher Education in August 2011 from Capella University.
I joined the UNC community in May 2011 and oversee the Office of the Registrar. My responsibilities include working with the Registrar team to improve services provided to students, staff, and faculty.
I look forward to serving the UNC community.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from UNC in 2003; I received my Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership from UNC in December 2009. I come from a family of UNC alumni with my grandma, aunt, and sister all having earned degrees here. I began working in the Office of the Registrar in 2004, and I truly enjoy my job and the opportunities it gives me to interact with students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
My responsibilities include NCAA Athletic Eligibility, College Opportunity Fund (COF), and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). I also oversee course scheduling, registration and the general student services area of the office and serve on a number of committees on campus working towards improving student services. I would love to assist you with any questions you may have. GO BEARS!
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from UNC in 2003. I began working at the University in 2005, and joined the Office of the Registrar in 2007. I love working at my alma mater. The best part of my job is to see students finally walk across the stage on graduation day!
I specialize in graduation requirements and commencement. If you have any questions in this area please feel free to contact me.
I have been in higher education for the past 17 years, all of which has been serving students, faculty and staff in the Office of the Registrar. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies (1994) and Master of Arts in Educational Administration (2004) at Concordia University in Irvine California.
I am excited about being part of the UNC family. I joined UNC in May of 2015 and serve as an Assistant Registrar, working with scheduling and registration. If you have any questions, please contact me. I look forward assisting you with your academic pursuits.
Academic Records Coordinator
I received a Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology in 2008 from UNC. I then returned to UNC to complete my Post Baccalaureate in Secondary Social Sciences in 2010. I am happy to return to the campus after working in the Customer Services and Medical Fields. I look forward to the challenges that working in the Office of the Registrar will offer.
I am excited to be a part of UNC’s Office of the Registrar. A Colorado native, I attended the University of North Florida and Florida State College, obtaining an Associate’s degree in Business Management. I hope to begin attending UNC to obtain my Bachelor’s degree. In the meantime, I enjoy spending my time with all the critters on my small farm and remaining a child at heart. Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional! I look forward to helping the students UNC pursue their goals and enjoy their time here!
I am overwhelmed to join UNC’s vibrant Office of the Registrar team. A Colorado native and a Bear through and through, I attended the University of Northern Colorado once upon a time and am very humbled to be making a return. My “free” time is spent performing with theaters all across Northern Colorado, teaching acting classes and dancing whenever I can.
I will be working most closely with transfer students and all that comes with that. Being a transfer student myself, it is my passion to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved. I look forward to assisting you in whatever your questions may be.

After moving to Greeley summer of 2013, I’m excited to join the UNC team.

Falling in love with the great state of Colorado was inevitable for me; the beauty of her land, wildlife, and people is undeniable. I couldn’t be happier to call Colorado my home. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy: Ethics & Public Policy from UNC in 2012. It feels great to be serving my alma mater in our Office of the Registrar, where I will be working with transfer evaluations.

Working in the Graduation department, meeting with prospective graduates, advising, and learning from each experience, keeps my work interesting and challenging. I look forward to meeting new people and experiencing all that UNC has to offer.
