Course of Study (30-34 Credit Hours)
Content coursework is completed in five terms (approximately 20 months).
- Comprehensive Exam Option (30 credit hours): if you choose this option you can take the exam at the end of the fifth term, or take the exam the following term.
- Thesis Option (34 credit hours): you will finish the program in two years (six terms).

Comprehensive Exam Option
In lieu of a master's thesis, students can take a comprehensive written exam either in their final semester of coursework or the following semester.
Thesis Option
Students can complete the program through development of a thesis via enrollment in TIP 699 Master's Thesis (4)
