Lisa Horn

Lisa has more than 11 years of public accounting experience. As a member of the Public Sector Practice, she provides audit services to a wide variety of clients, including private and public schools, municipalities, counties, state departments, and public pension plans. She leads the client engagement process, including supervising and training the audit team, reviewing audit workpapers, and communicating with the client and lead audit executive. Lisa also provides Single Audit compliance testing, which allows nonprofit and governmental organizations to conform with requirements for federal funding.

She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, COCPA, and Colorado Government Finance Officers Association. Lisa currently serves on the University of Northern Colorado Monfort College of Business Dean’s Leadership Council. Lisa is currently a protégé in FORVIS’ SKY initiative, which supports the development of women in the firm.

Lisa is a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, with a B.S. degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting.
