Mike Kirby

Mike Kirby was elected to the Foundation Board of Directors in 2020 and serves as a member of the Audit and Finance Committee.

Mike graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from UNC’s Monfort College of Business in 2003.  He has worked at FirstBank, one of the country’s largest privately held banks, for 18 years.  Currently serving as the Controller, his areas of focus include financial and regulatory reporting, capital management and corporate insurance.  During his career in banking he has had the opportunity to oversee multiple product areas, including card operations, online account acquisition, payment strategy and the company’s mobile offerings.
