Collin Richardson

Director

Collin Richardson has more than two decades of experience as an entrepreneur and leader in his family's businesses; which have spanned several sectors including oil and gas and real estate development.

While not a graduate of UNC, Collin has had a lifelong relationship with the university that began as a child when he attended K-12 at University Schools on UNC's campus. After completing his degree at the University of Iowa, Collin returned to Greeley to work with his family. This included an executive role in their oil and gas company, Mineral Resources, where he worked in management on the operations side. As the family business holdings grew, so did Collin's role which has led to extensive experience in real estate, with a particular focus on multifamily development through Richmark Development.

As part of a well-known and deeply involved community family, the Richardsons were the visionaries behind a significant land donation to UNC, recognized at the time as one of the largest single gifts in the university's history. The eventual sale of that land generated funds that later helped launch the proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine at UNC. In addition, the family has made generous and forward-thinking contributions of both land and cash to organizations in Weld county such as Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club.

In addition to support and investment in UNC, Collin is actively involved in board service throughout the Greeley community. He has served for a decade on the board of the Boys and Girls Club, including six years as a member of that executive team. He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board, as well as a fourteen year committee member and former chair of the Weld Trust's Burn Center Benefit Golf Tournament.

Collin and his wife, Sarah, are frequent attendees at UNC athletic events, including men's basketball, where they have been season ticket holders for several years. They reside in Greeley, CO with their four children.
