Alternative transportation
Blue Cruiser Bike Program
UNC is excited to provide a free campus bike program offered through the Department of Campus Recreation, in order to offer an affordable and environmentally sustainable form of transportation to students. This program strives to provide an alternative to driving and to promote bear pride on campus. Campus Recreation has a fleet of 50 cruiser bicycles, designed uniquely for UNC. All bikes come with a helmet and lock, as well as the option to use a front-mounted basket.
If you are interested in checking out a bike, visit the Campus Recreation Center or click BlueCruiser for additional information.
