The 44th annual UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival April 24-26 will bring together internationally recognized artists, jazz lovers, award-winning clinicians and over 250 college, high school and middle school jazz bands from across the country for main stage concerts, free after-hours sessions, daytime performances and educational workshop sessions.
This year's main-stage performances starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Union Colony Civic Center will include:
- Thursday, April 24: Grammy award-winning a cappella group the Swingle Singers and the Northern Colorado Voices
- Friday, April 25: Wayne Shorter Quartet, featuring Danilo Perez, John Patitucci and Brian Blade, followed by the Jazz Festival All Star Big Band (sold out)
- Saturday, April 26: Jazz band virtuoso Christian McBride, joined by UNC Jazz Band I, plus a tribute to Ray Brown featuring special guest artists Jeff Hamilton, Larry Fuller and Christoph Luty
