The Community Engaged Scholars Symposium seeks proposals for presentations during the seventh annual symposium on Nov. 12 in the University Center ballrooms. Proposals are due by Friday, Oct. 15.
Individuals, groups and organizations from the UNC and Weld County communities involved with regional or global community-based research, partnerships and other activities that connect academic knowledge to practice are encouraged to participate.
Poster presentations, demonstration projects, round table discussions and other formats can be used to showcase projects and initiatives, facilitate networking among participants and recognize excellence in the symposium's interactive setting.
An application form and additional information about the symposium is available on the event website.
Engaged Scholarship Awards
Nominations for the Engaged Scholarship Awards, which will be presented during the symposium, also are sought.
Information about the award categories and a nomination form are available here.
The Community Engaged Scholarship Symposium is sponsored by UNC's Center for Honors, Scholars and Leadership.
