University Open; Icy Conditions May Exist

The University of Northern Colorado is open Wednesday, April 10. Please be careful walking and driving on and around campus. Crews worked Tuesday afternoon and evening, and are here this morning, to clear campus sidewalks and parking lots and apply ice-melt and sand.

Still, drifting snow from strong winds and single-digit temperatures overnight may result in icy conditions in spots. To report an area of concern, contact the Facilities Management Service Center at (970) 351-2446.

For updated travel information, including road conditions, visit the Colorado Department of Transportation's Web site at www.cotrip.org or call the toll-free recorded line at 877-315-7623.

As a reminder, the operating status of the university is available via the following methods:

• By Phone: The inclement weather phone line, 970-351-4100;
• Media: Closures are reported to area media, including Denver TV stations;
