University Open Tuesday, April 9; Be Cautious Traveling on Campus

UNC is operating on a normal schedule Tuesday, April 9 (with the exception of the Denver Center at Lowry campus, where classes have been canceled).

Please be advised that icy conditions exist and be cautious walking and driving on campus. Crews are out cleaning sidewalks, building entryways and parking lots. To report an area of concern, contact the Facilities Management Service Center at (970) 351-2446.

The storm has intensified since this morning, and UNC's emergency preparedness team continues to closely monitor weather conditions. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for northern Colorado and the Front Range, effective through 6 tonight.

  • Media: Closures are reported to area media, including Denver TV stations;
