The Center for Peer Education is sponsoring Tobacco Awareness Week Nov. 12-16. Activities and events include the signing of a petition for a tobacco-free UNC, an effort to clean up cigarette butts, tobacco-themed bingo and more, all featuring information on tobacco awareness and education.
Monday 11/12: Tobacco Awarenesss Begins
'Like' the Center for Peer Education on Facebook to keep up-to-date on Tobacco Awareness Week.
Tuesday 11/13: We Want a Tobacco Free UNC
Sign a petition in the University Center from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. to pledge for a tobacco-free UNC. Cessation resources and "Quit Kits" will be provided.
Wednesday 11/14: Bingo
Get five in a row for a prize at Tobacco Awareness Bingo, which starts at 8:30 p.m in the University Center ballrooms.
Thursday 11/15: Kicking Butts Campus Clean-Up Challenge 2012
Join the UNC Community and help clean up the campus of all cigarette butts. Be sure to sign up in groups of 10 by emailing Elizabeth Aramuu.
