Music: Vocal Performance, MM
The Master of Music in Vocal Performance is a comprehensive program that includes advanced instruction in vocal pedagogy, acting for singers, vocal literature, opera history and opera stage direction. There are extensive opportunities to perform in opera, choir and vocal jazz. We offer two fully-staged productions with orchestra each year, as well as opera scenes and an outreach program. In addition, select students may be offered apprenticeships with Opera Fort Collins. We also offer Opera Classica Europa, a summer program in Germany. Singers who have graduated with the MM in Vocal Performance have gone on to professional performing careers, doctoral studies and/or teaching.
