JERI Journal The Journal of Educational Research and Innovation (JERI) is a peer-reviewed, open access electronic publication dedicated to the discussion, sharing, and reflection of current educational research that will enhance our understanding of teaching and learning. JERI aims to provoke conversation about emerging ideas, stimulate innovation in practice, and encourage diversity of opinion.
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) provides support and recognition for undergraduate student research for all Colleges at the University of Northern Colorado to further University goals for active learning and original research. Check the links on the left for access to opportunities for grants, internships, conferences and a comprehensive listing of professional organizations.
All research projects conducted under the auspices of the University of Northern Colorado involving human subjects are reviewed and approved by the university’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). Faculty, students, and staff planning human research must submit requests for IRB approval prior to any data collection.
The Office of Sponsored Programs assists UNC faculty and staff members in securing and managing external and internal funding awards throughout the lifecycle of sponsored projects.
The Social Research Lab at UNC is a reference for a variety of qualitative and quantitative research projects. The SRL exists to serve UNC and the surrounding community by utilizing highly trained faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students to produce affordable, customized research solutions.
The mission of the Student Activities Office coordinates programs, activities and events with the specific intent to provide students with opportunities and an environment where learning and development can occur.
Campus Compact is a national coalition of more than 1,100 college and university presidents who are committed to fulfilling the public purpose of higher education. Campus Compact promotes public and community service that develops students’ citizenship skills, helps campuses develop effective community partnerships, and provides resources and training. Campus Compact is dedicated to advancing the public purpose of colleges and universities by deepening their ability to improve community life and to educate students for civic and social responsibility
Campus Compact of the Mountain West is a membership organization of colleges and universities devoted to promoting civic learning and elevating higher education engagement in the region.
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching develops networks of ideas, individuals, and institutions to advance teaching and learning. The foundation joins together scholars, practitioners, and designers in new ways to solve problems of educational practices.
The Engaged Scholarship Consortium (ESC) is a non-profit educational organization. The goal of ESC is to work collaboratively to build strong university-community partnerships anchored in the rigor of scholarship, and designed to help build community capacity.
